Sailing Lobster Cove *PASTEL* $575.00 Image Size: 12" x 10" Framing Outside Dimensions: 23" x 21" This painting was painted plein air on Monhegan Island, Maine. While painting this wonderful little cove, I looked up just as the sailboat came into view. Hurriedly getting the image down on the paper before it sailed out of sight, I realized that I had not taken a photograph. I usually try to get photos just in case I need to make some final adjustments back in my studio. This time I did make adjustments, but had to rely only on my memories of this scene. |
Monhegan Roses *PASTEL* $850.00 Image Size: 10" x 13" Framing Outside Dimensions: 21" x 24" This painting was painted from a photograph taken while on a painting trip to Monhegan Island, Maine. There were roses growing everywhere and these were so enchanting growing up this house. I hope you enjoy them! I took quite a few photographs and from several different angles. There will probably be many different paintings done just from this scene on Monhegan. |
