This scene is located on a barrier
island near Darien, Georgia -- Creighton Island. I have traveled to
Creighton Island for three years for a week during fall with other
artists to paint on location. The marsh and grasses are absolutely
beautiful in the afternoon. The sun hits the grasses and just appears
gold tipped. It is always a race to capture any of the appearance of
the water as it tide is going out! I hope you enjoy the colors I have
used.
